You may find yourself with estate jewelry at some point in your life - and many people just aren't sure what exactly they have or what to do with it. Many sentimental fine jewelry pieces are passed down generation to generation, with the history and stories behind them intact. However, there are many, many more pieces that may end up being found in boxes, drawers, and even yard or estate sales - and many folks just aren't sure whether it is gold, silver, costume, etc.....or what to do with pieces that they may not want to keep. We have been helping our customers with their estate pieces for many years - and if you find yourself in this situation, we'd love to help you, too! Whether it is identifying metals and stones and just helping you sort through your jewelry, or writing appraisals for estate or insurance purposes, we can help you through the process. If you are not sure what to do with estate jewelry that comes into your possession, we can help you with that, too! We will be glad to go over your options with you. From leaving the piece as it is, to refinishing/refurbishing, or even resetting your stones and creating brand new pieces from the old - many possibilities do exist! And for those very broken or non-sentimental pieces that you just do not want to keep, we do buy old and broken jewelry as well. Most estate consultations are free; however, a fee is charged for written appraisals, and identification on very large estates or those that require extensive research may also require a fee.
